hi,

I've been on short term Christian medical trips for aobut 6 years off and on. I have been a nurse 23 years and usually work as a provider. I have worked in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ecuador(remote Amazon, Galapagos Islands (I speak fluent Spanish). My last trip was to Kenya and my heart is there. I fell in love with the Mara and the people there. I would love to live and work there as a Christian missionary nurse some day. if i had the money I'd leave tomorrow. I am working as an RN on a military base as a civilian contractor. I'm just not sure if I can get the time off that would be my only hold up and of course the cost. I was to have gone last year and my Pastor cancelled the trip so I am up to date on vaccines etc. Please let me know what I need to do from here. Weni

Hi Bill,
I've been on your mailing list for a few years. As always, I am interested in learning of your experiences. I am a teacher; don't know if I'd even be out of school this early in the year. What is the cost of the trip and how are the funds raised? Also, can you tell me about the church/denomination with which you are affiliated? Thanks!...and Merry Christmas!

I hope to FINALLY join your team. I've been busy with our own missions to Guatemala and work with MMI. Timing could be right this time around.
